At the end of their training, under the supervision of Thierry De Mey and IRCAM’s educational team, the 10 composers from the IRCAM Cursus class of 2017-18 will present their musical creations for solo instruments and electronics. Ten short works perf ormed by musicians from the Conservatoire de Paris and, for three of them, with dancers from the same conservatory. Through their cultural and geographical diversity, these young composers—from Brazil, the United States, China, Columbia, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, and Porto Rico—make their individual voices heard, integrating the contributions of technology.
