An epic and visionary work with a universalist approach from the end of the 1960s, the vertical power of the sonic world that modulates the souvenirs of national anthems is instantly striking in Hymnen. In this version commissioned by the New York Philharmonic from Stockhausen, the orchestral sound is literally blown up by the invasion of the electronic tape. For Hymnen, the Philharmonique de Radio France has accepted to include young musicians from the ULYSSES Ensemble in their ranks and assist them during a reading session for young composers selected to participate in the ManiFeste-2018 academy. Beyond the decades, a hymn to emerging artistic creation.
