Marko Nikodijevic (b. 1980) studied composition in Belgrade with Zoran Erić and Srdjan Hofman from 1995 to 2003. At the same time, took classes in physics and mathematics completing his training in composition with Marco Stroppa at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart.
Active as both a composer of “concert music” and as a digital performer, Marko Nikodijevic represents a new generation of creators with multiple influences and modes of expression. His musical production is fed by the use of digital technology: algorithms and fractal theory, chaos theory, spectral music, instrumental and digital sound synthesis, digital signal processing.
